lovely hotel experience

the room was very clean, modern, and spacious. it had lots of usb charging points and reading lights. the decor looked high quality. the bed was really comfy.

the bar decor seemed like a random mix. it looked like it needed a makeover

the staff were pleasant and helpful. one desk employee gave good advice about local restaurants and bars. the staff were very good too make stays special. every detail was handled with kindness.

convenient location leisure centre warm room thin walls

the hotel's location proved very convenient. it was right next to the train and coach station, facilitating travel considerably. the facilities were also a plus, especially the leisure centre.

the room became excessively warm. even with the radiators turned off, a fan only circulated warm air, uncomfortable. i also found the walls to be quite thin so i could hear noise from adjacent rooms.

filthy carpets unpleasant manager

This hotel claims to be a 4-star hotel but falls FAR short. The carpets in my room were filthy. To make matters worse, there was no hot water in the sink! I requested that the room be cleaned, but it never happened. The front desk was unhelpful. They didn't offer a different room until I spoke with the manager late in the evening. The manager was unpleasant and inexperienced.

clean room spacious room small window hard bed

the room was clean. it was also very spacious. i also found the buffet breakfast ideal. everything i wanted was available.

the room was too hot at night. i could only open a small window. the bed was also ridiculously hard, so it was uncomfortable.
